Overview
Pyridostigmine is a cholinesterase inhibitor used in veterinary medicine primarily for the treatment of acquired myasthenia gravis in dogs and cats. It works by inhibiting the breakdown of acetylcholine at the neuromuscular junction, thereby improving muscle strength and function.
