概要
デルタメトリンは合成ピレスロイド系の外部寄生虫駆除薬であり、主に犬用の薬剤入り首輪として、マダニ、ノミ、サシチョウバエ、蚊の駆除および忌避に使用されます。> 臨床上の警告: 猫、水生動物、ミツバチに対して非常に強い毒性を示します。猫には使用せず、首輪を装着した犬を自然の河川などで泳がせないでください。
作用機序
Acts as a sodium 'open channel blocker' in the nerve membranes of arthropods. → Prolongs sodium channel opening → Causes continuous nerve depolarization → Results in muscular convulsions, paralysis, and death of the parasite. It also possesses significant repellent (anti-feeding) activity against ticks and flying insects.

- Dogs less than 7 weeks old
- Dogs with existing skin lesions

- Gastrointestinal disturbances (if ingested)
- Neuromuscular disturbances (if ingested)
注意事項
Wash hands thoroughly after fitting the collar.
Important: Avoid letting children, especially those under 2 years of age, touch, play with, or put the collar into their mouth.
Highly toxic to aquatic animals; remove the collar before allowing the dog to swim in rivers or lakes. Also toxic to bees and birds.

- Signs of local skin irritation or dermatitis at the collar site
- Neurological signs (tremors, twitching) if accidental ingestion is suspected

Systemic absorption from the collar is minimal; the active ingredient spreads through the lipid layer of the skin and hair coat.
分布
Distributes over the entire body surface via sebum and hair.
代謝
Any systemically absorbed deltamethrin is rapidly metabolized by the liver (ester hydrolysis and oxidation).
消失
Excreted primarily in feces and urine.
過剰投与
Accidental ingestion of the collar can cause severe gastrointestinal and neuromuscular disturbances (tremors, hypersalivation, seizures).
Treatment: Diazepam should be administered in the event of accidental ingestion to control neurological signs. Provide supportive care.

飼主向け情報
- 猫には非常に強い毒性があり致命的となる可能性があるため、絶対に猫には使用しないでください。
- 首輪が十分な効果を発揮するまでに約1週間かかります。
- 首輪を触ったり装着した後は、石鹸と水で手を洗ってください。
- 子供（特に2歳未満）が首輪で遊んだり、触ったり、口に入れたりしないように注意してください。
- 魚や水生生物に対して非常に強い毒性があるため、犬を泳がせる前には必ず首輪を外してください。
- 犬の首周りに赤み、かゆみ、脱毛がないか観察してください。これらの症状が現れた場合は首輪を外し、獣医師に相談してください。
