ジノテフランは第3世代のネオニコチノイド系殺虫剤であり、獣医療では主に局所用のノミ成虫駆除薬として使用されます。**臨床のポイント:** 犬では、広域スペクトルの外部寄生虫駆除を提供するため、ペルメトリン（マダニ・蚊の忌避・駆除薬）およびピリプロキシフェン（昆虫成長制御剤）と組み合わせて使用されることがよくあります。 > **警告:** ペルメトリンを含む製品（Vectra 3Dなど）は猫に対して非常に強い毒性を示します。
作用機序: Dinotefuran acts as an agonist at insect **nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs)**. It binds continuously to these receptors → causes continuous nerve stimulation → leads to tremors, paralysis, and death of the insect. **Synergistic activity** is observed when combined with permethrin in vitro and in vivo.

過量投与
Overdose of topical dinotefuran alone is generally well tolerated in dogs. However, ingestion or massive overdose of combination products containing permethrin can lead to **pyrethroid toxicity** (tremors, seizures, hypersalivation, hyperthermia). Treatment is supportive (e.g., methocarbamol for tremors, bathing with dish soap to remove unabsorbed product).
