概要

​エニルコナゾール​は、主に獣医療において皮膚糸状菌症（白癬）の局所治療に使用される広域スペクトルのイミダゾール系抗真菌薬です。

​臨床のポイント：​ Microsporum canis、Microsporum gypseum、Trichophyton mentagrophytesなどの一般的な獣医領域の皮膚糸状菌に対して高い有効性を示します。通常、濃縮液として提供され、使用前に希釈して洗浄または薬浴として適用する必要があります。

作用機序

Inhibition of cytochrome P450-dependent synthesis of ergosterol in fungal cells → increased cell wall permeability → leakage of cellular contents → fungal cell death.

安全性・警告

禁忌

  • Known hypersensitivity to enilconazole or other imidazoles

有害事象

  • Mild skin irritation (rare)
  • Hypersalivation or vomiting if ingested

注意事項

​Warning:​ For topical use only. Must be diluted prior to use. Avoid contact with eyes. Prevent the animal from licking the treated area until completely dry.

  • Resolution of skin lesions
  • Negative fungal cultures (typically 2 consecutive negative cultures)

Poorly absorbed systemically after topical application.

分布

Remains primarily in the stratum corneum and hair follicles.

代謝

Hepatic (for the small fraction absorbed).

消失

Feces and urine (for absorbed fraction).

過剰投与

Systemic toxicity is highly unlikely following topical application. Accidental ingestion of the concentrated solution may cause gastrointestinal irritation, vomiting, and hypersalivation. Treatment is symptomatic and supportive.
