イミダクロプリド
**イミダクロプリド**は、犬および猫のノミ感染の治療および予防に広く使用される局所用外部寄生虫駆除薬です。単剤として、またはマダニ、ダニ、内部寄生虫に対する有効範囲を広げるために、モキシデクチン、ペルメトリン、フルメトリンなどの他の駆虫薬と組み合わせて使用されます。 > **警告:** **ペルメトリン**を含む配合剤（例：フォートレオン）は猫に対して非常に強い毒性を持つため、猫には**絶対に使用しないでください**。 **臨床のポイント:** 最適なノミ駆除のためには、承認された昆虫成長制御剤（IGR）の併用と環境管理が強く推奨されます。同居しているすべての動物を同時に治療する必要があります。
作用機序: Imidacloprid acts on the central nervous system of insects. It **binds to post-synaptic nicotinic acetylcholine receptors** → causes continuous nerve stimulation → results in **paralysis and death** of adult fleas and their larvae.

- Kittens <9 weeks or <1kg, puppies <7 weeks (moxidectin combination)

- Transient pruritus at application site
- Erythema at application site
- Salivation (if ingested due to bitter taste)
- Transient lethargy
- Agitation
- Inappetence

過量投与
Overdose of the topical formulation is generally well tolerated, though application site reactions may be more pronounced. > **Toxicity Warning:** In the event of accidental ingestion of the combined product with flumethrin, **diazepam** should be administered to control neurological signs.
