ラタノプロスト
**ラタノプロスト**は局所眼科用プロスタグランジン関連薬であり、主に**犬の原発性緑内障**の管理および急性原発性緑内障の緊急管理に使用されます。炭酸脱水酵素阻害薬などの他の局所用抗緑内障薬と併用されることがよくあります。 > **臨床上の警告：** ぶどう膜炎および水晶体前方脱臼の症例には禁忌です。妊娠中の動物への使用は避けてください。 **臨床のポイント：** 水晶体前方脱臼には禁忌ですが、水晶体亜脱臼および後方脱臼の管理には有用な場合があります。ラタノプロストはトラボプロストと同等の活性を持ちます。猫における有効性は様々であり、原発性緑内障の猫において急性的に眼圧（IOP）を低下させることが示されていますが、長期使用の適合性と有効性は不明です。
作用機序: Acts as an agonist for receptors specific for **prostaglandin F**. **Prostaglandin F receptor activation** → increases uveoscleral outflow of aqueous humor → significantly reduces **intraocular pressure (IOP)**.
