概要

次亜塩素酸ナトリウム（pH調整された次亜塩素酸の形態）は、局所用の抗菌および創傷ケア剤です。デブリドマンを通じて、皮膚や創傷面からの細胞の残骸、老化細胞、壊死組織、異物の機械的除去を助けます。広範な抗菌および抗真菌作用を示します。従来の漂白剤とは異なり、現代の獣医用次亜塩素酸製剤は生理学的な範囲にpH調整されており、治癒組織に対して非細胞毒性です。

作用機序

Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is a potent oxidizing agent naturally produced by neutrophils during the oxidative burst.

  • ​Mechanical action:​ The spray application assists in the physical debridement and flushing of cellular debris and necrotic tissue.
  • ​Antimicrobial action:​ HOCl → oxidizes sulfhydryl enzymes and amino acids → disrupts bacterial cell walls and biofilms → leads to microbial cell death.

Normal precautions should be observed.

​Clinical Pearl:​ Do not mix with other topical medications, ointments, or cleansers (such as chlorhexidine or silver sulfadiazine) simultaneously, as the oxidative nature of hypochlorous acid may inactivate other active ingredients.

Overdosage is highly unlikely due to the topical route of administration and the non-toxic, physiological nature of the pH-balanced formulations. Ingestion of small amounts from grooming is generally considered safe.
