항진균제 (이미다졸계)

클림바졸은 수의 피부과에서 **말라세지아(Malassezia)** 피부염 및 피부사상균증 치료를 위해 클로르헥시딘과 함께 자주 사용되는 국소용 이미다졸계 항진균제입니다. > **임상 팁:** 국소적이거나 가벼운 표면 효모 감염에는 매우 효과적이지만, 전신적이거나 심각한 경우에는 전신 항진균제 병용 치료가 필요한 경우가 많습니다. 클림바졸과 클로르헥시딘의 시너지 효과는 2차 세균성 농피증과 효모 과다 증식에 대해 우수한 광범위한 효과를 제공합니다.

작용 기전: Climbazole inhibits **cytochrome P450-dependent 14-alpha-demethylase** → blocks the synthesis of **ergosterol** in fungal cell membranes → causes increased cell wall permeability → allows leakage of cellular contents, ultimately leading to fungal cell death.

과용량

Systemic overdose is highly unlikely due to the topical route of administration. Accidental ingestion of shampoos or wipes may cause mild, self-limiting gastrointestinal upset (hypersalivation, vomiting, diarrhea).
