- Pruritus associated with allergic dermatitis; atopic dermatitis: Administer the entire contents (1 ml) of the vial; dose per the SPC weight chart. Do not use in dogs under 3 kg bodyweight. If no response after a second dose one month later, consider alternatives.

로키베트맙은 개 인터루킨-31(IL-31)을 특이적으로 표적하여 중화하도록 설계된 개화 단일클론항체(mAb)입니다. 주로 반려견의 아토피 피부염 임상 증상 치료에 사용되며, 가려움증을 크게 완화하고 항염증 효과를 나타냅니다.
임상 팁: 고도로 표적화된 생물학적 치료제로서, 코르티코스테로이드나 사이클로스포린과 같은 전통적인 치료제와 관련된 광범위한 면역 억제 부작용이 없습니다.
작용 기전
Lokivetmab specifically binds to and neutralizes canine interleukin-31 (IL-31), a key cytokine involved in the itch sensation.
- IL-31 → Blocked from binding to its co-receptor
- Cell signalling → Inhibited
- Result → Relief from atopic dermatitis-related pruritus and reduction of inflammation.

주의
Clinical Pearl: Lokivetmab is a caninized antibody and should only be used in dogs. Do not use in cats or other species as it may induce an immune response or be ineffective. Monitor for rare hypersensitivity reactions following administration.
