외부기생충 구제제 (이속사졸린계)

로틸라너는 이속사졸린계에 속하는 전신성 외부기생충 구제제로, 개와 고양이의 벼룩 및 진드기 감염 치료 및 예방에 사용됩니다. **임상 팁:** 이속사졸린계 약물은 매우 효과적이고 작용 발현이 빠르지만, 기생충이 유효 성분에 노출되려면 반려동물에 붙어 흡혈을 시작해야 합니다.

작용 기전: Lotilaner acts as an antagonist at **gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA)-gated chloride channels** and, to a lesser extent, **glutamate-gated chloride channels** (GluCls) in insects and acarines. Binding blocks the transfer of chloride ions across cell membranes → uncontrolled neuromuscular activity → paralysis → death of the parasite.

과용량

Lotilaner is generally well tolerated even at multiple times the maximum recommended dose. Overdose may cause mild, transient gastrointestinal signs such as vomiting or diarrhea. Treatment is symptomatic and supportive.
