개요
췌장 효소 보충제는 외분비 췌장 기능 부전(EPI)의 임상 증상을 조절하기 위해 사용되는 외인성 대체 요법입니다. 이 보충제에는 리파아제, 프로테아제, 아밀라아제의 혼합물이 포함되어 있습니다.
임상 팁: EPI 환자에서 저코발라민혈증이 흔하므로 비타민 B12(코발라민) 요법을 병행하면 효능이 크게 증대될 수 있습니다. 제산제의 병용 투여는 일반적으로 비용 효율적이지 않으며, 급여 전 효소를 음식과 미리 섞어둘(사전 배양) 필요가 없습니다. 신선한 생 돼지 췌장이나 냉동 돼지 췌장도 효과적인 대안이 될 수 있으나, 구하기 어렵고 병원체 섭취의 위험이 있습니다.
작용 기전
Provides exogenous replacement of pancreatic enzymes:
- Lipase → hydrolyses dietary triglycerides into fatty acids and glycerol.
- Protease → cleaves peptide bonds to break down dietary proteins.
- Amylase → hydrolyses complex carbohydrates into simpler sugars. These actions restore digestive capability in the small intestine, facilitating nutrient absorption and resolving maldigestion.
안전성·주의사항
부작용
- Contact dermatitis of the lips (with powdered non-coated enzymes)
- Offensive body/fecal odour
- Oral or oesophageal ulcers (with non-coated enzymes)
- Diarrhoea (at high doses)
- GI cramping (at high doses)
주의
Handler Safety: Powder spilled on hands should be washed off immediately to prevent skin irritation. Avoid inhaling powder as it causes mucous membrane irritation and may trigger asthma attacks in susceptible individuals. These risks are generally not associated with enteric-coated granules.
Patient Safety: Non-coated pancreatic enzymes may cause oral or oesophageal ulcers; dosing must always be followed with food or water.

Digested and degraded by other enzymes and bacteria in the lower gastrointestinal tract.

Excreted in the faeces.
과다투여
High doses may cause diarrhoea and signs of gastrointestinal cramping. Reduce dose if these signs occur.

투여 방법: 처방된 양의 가루나 캡슐 내용물을 반려동물의 매 식사에 골고루 섞어주세요. 음식을 미리 섞어둘 필요는 없습니다. 구강 궤양을 예방하기 위해 식후 즉시 물을 마시거나 음식을 먹게 하여 효소가 식도로 넘어갈 수 있도록 하십시오.
안전 경고: 피부 자극을 피하기 위해 가루를 만진 후에는 손을 씻으십시오. 기도를 자극하거나 천식을 유발할 수 있으므로 가루를 흡입하지 마십시오.
