개요
트라보프로스트는 주로 수의학에서 원발성 반려견 녹내장 관리에 사용되는 국소 안과용 프로스타글란딘 F2α 유사체입니다. 안압(IOP)을 빠르게 낮추는 데 매우 효과적이며 급성 원발성 녹내장의 응급 처치에 자주 활용됩니다. 라타노프로스트와 유사한 활성을 가지며, 탄산탈수효소 억제제와 같은 다른 국소 항녹내장 약물과 함께 자주 사용됩니다.
임상 경고: 포도막염 및 수정체 전방 탈구 환축에게는 금기이나, 수정체 아탈구 및 후방 탈구 관리에는 유용할 수 있습니다. 임신한 동물에게는 사용을 피하십시오.
작용 기전
Acts as an agonist for prostaglandin F receptors → increases uveoscleral outflow of aqueous humor → significantly reduces intraocular pressure (IOP).
