祛痰藥 / 黏液溶解劑
溴己新是一種支氣管分泌物溶解劑和祛痰藥，在獸醫學中用於輔助治療以黏稠黏液為特徵的呼吸道疾病。**臨床提示：** 常作為氣管支氣管炎、肺炎和慢性呼吸道疾病的輔助治療，以改善氣道清除率。
作用機制: Bromhexine acts as a **bronchial secretolytic**. It disrupts the structure of **acid mucopolysaccharide fibres** in mucoid sputum → produces a less viscous mucus → makes it easier to expectorate and clear from the respiratory tract. **Clinical Pearl:** It may also increase the concentration of certain antibiotics in bronchial secretions, enhancing their efficacy in respiratory infections.

過量
