- Pruritus associated with allergic dermatitis; atopic dermatitis: Administer the entire contents (1 ml) of the vial; dose per the SPC weight chart. Do not use in dogs under 3 kg bodyweight. If no response after a second dose one month later, consider alternatives.

作用機制
Lokivetmab specifically binds to and neutralizes canine interleukin-31 (IL-31), a key cytokine involved in the itch sensation.
- IL-31 → Blocked from binding to its co-receptor
- Cell signalling → Inhibited
- Result → Relief from atopic dermatitis-related pruritus and reduction of inflammation.

- Known hypersensitivity to the active substance or excipients
- Use in species other than dogs

注意事項
Clinical Pearl: Lokivetmab is a caninized antibody and should only be used in dogs. Do not use in cats or other species as it may induce an immune response or be ineffective. Monitor for rare hypersensitivity reactions following administration.

Distributed primarily in the vascular space and extracellular fluid, typical of monoclonal antibodies.

Degraded into small peptides and amino acids via normal catabolic pathways.

Long elimination half-life allowing for monthly dosing.
過量
Overdoses are generally well tolerated due to the targeted nature of the monoclonal antibody, though the risk of immune-mediated reactions may theoretically increase. No specific antidote is required; treat symptomatically if adverse effects occur.
