第滅寧
第滅寧（Deltamethrin）是一種合成除蟲菊精類外用殺寄生蟲藥，主要透過浸漬項圈用於犬隻，以控制壁蝨、跳蚤、白蛉和蚊子。> **臨床警告：** 對貓、水生動物和蜜蜂具有高度毒性。請勿用於貓，配戴項圈的犬隻亦不可進入天然水域游泳。
作用機制: Acts as a **sodium 'open channel blocker'** in the nerve membranes of arthropods. → Prolongs sodium channel opening → Causes continuous nerve depolarization → Results in muscular convulsions, paralysis, and death of the parasite. It also possesses significant repellent (anti-feeding) activity against ticks and flying insects.

- Cats (highly toxic)
- Dogs less than 7 weeks old
- Dogs with existing skin lesions
不良反應
- Dermatitis or localized skin irritation around the neck
- Gastrointestinal disturbances (if ingested)
- Neuromuscular disturbances (if ingested)
監測
- Signs of local skin irritation or dermatitis at the collar site
- Neurological signs (tremors, twitching) if accidental ingestion is suspected
過量
Accidental ingestion of the collar can cause severe gastrointestinal and neuromuscular disturbances (tremors, hypersalivation, seizures). > **Treatment:** **Diazepam** should be administered in the event of accidental ingestion to control neurological signs. Provide supportive care.
