概覽

含有​聚乙二醇 (Macrogol)​ 的腸道清潔液作為滲透性瀉藥。它們配有平衡的電解質以維持等滲透壓，防止在腸道準備過程中發生淨水分流失或增加。口服後能迅速排空腸道。

​臨床提示：​ 主要用於結腸鏡檢查、胃腸道X光檢查或手術前的腸道準備，偶爾也用於處理嚴重的頑固性便秘或糞便嵌塞。

作用機轉

Polyethylene glycol acts as an osmotic laxative. It is a large, non-absorbable polymer that binds water → retains fluid within the colonic lumen → increases fecal volume and softens stool → stimulates colonic motility and peristalsis → rapidly empties the bowel. The addition of balanced electrolytes ensures isotonicity, preventing significant shifts of sodium, potassium, or water across the intestinal mucosa.

注意事項

Use with caution in patients with an impaired gag reflex or those at risk of aspiration. Ensure the patient is adequately hydrated before administration. Do not add flavorings or other substances to the reconstituted solution as it may alter the osmolarity.

Store unmixed powder at room temperature. Once reconstituted with water, store the solution in the refrigerator and discard any unused portion after 24 to 48 hours (check specific manufacturer guidelines).
