概覽
奧沙拉秦是5-氨基水楊酸（5-ASA）的二聚體，主要用於治療結腸炎，特別適用於對柳氮磺胺吡啶（sulfasalazine）敏感的病患。
臨床警告： 雖然引發乾眼症（KCS）的機率遠低於柳氮磺胺吡啶，但仍有潛在風險。治療期間應定期進行淚液測試（Schirmer tear tests）。
作用機轉
Olsalazine is a prodrug that is cleaved by colonic bacteria → releases free 5-ASA → exerts a local anti-inflammatory effect directly on the colonic mucosa.

注意事項
Normal precautions should be observed. Monitor tear production periodically due to the risk of keratoconjunctivitis sicca.
